Greymarch is a text typeface which aims to interpret the historical flavour of calligraphy through a more contemporary lens. Intended for the more informal echelons of editorial design, Greymarch has a distinct personality which maintains its calligraphic origins without becoming an imitation of writing. Its modest 4-master designspace is balanced by a large glyph set and native small caps.
Rutherford Craze is a type designer from the UK with a background in both graphic design and programming. After graduating from Type and Media, he interned at Fontsmith in London, before returning to The Hague to establish his own type foundry in early 2020.
Type and Media is a master’s course in typeface design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK). During the first semester, the students have several ongoing modules with concurrent projects, interspersed with a diverse set of workshops.
